Uses

Aripiprazole, sold under the brand name Abilify among others. Aripiprazole is used to treat certain mental / mood disorders (such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, Torture disorder and irritability related to autistic disorder). It can also be used in combination with other medicines for the treatment of depression. Aripiprazole is known as an antipsychotic drug (atypical type). It works by helping to restore the balance of some natural chemicals in the brain (neurotransmitters).
This medication can reduce the hallucinations and improve your concentration. It helps you to think more clearly and positive about yourself, feels less fright, and takes a more active part in everyday life. Aripiprazole can treat severe mood swings and reduce how often the mood swing occurs.

How to use Aripiprazole

Read the medication guide and, if available, the patient information leaflet provided by your pharmacist, when you start taking Aripiprazole and every time you get a refill. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Directly medicate Aripiprazole with your mouth or without food, usually daily once. Dosage is based on your medical condition, treatment response, age and other medicines you may be taking. Aripiprazole can cause you to feel dizziness or lethargy or blurry vision. Do not drive, use machinery, or do any such activity for which you need a vigilance or a clear vision, unless you are not sure that you can do such activities safely. Avoid alcoholic beverages.
Aripiprazole can reduce sweating, which is more likely to cause heat stroke. Avoid doing things that can cause you to heat, such as hard work or exercise in hot weather, or using hot tub. When the weather is warm, drink lots of fluids and wear light clothes. If you heat more, then quickly find a place to relax and relax. Over Dose

Missed Dose
