Uses

Haloperidol is used to treat certain mental / mood disorders (e.g.,  schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorders). This medicine helps you to think more clearly, feel less nervous and participate in everyday life. It can help prevent people from committing suicide, who are likely to harm themselves. It also reduces aggression and the desire to hurt others. It can reduce negative thoughts and hallucinations.
Haloperidol can also be used to treat the outbreak of uncontrolled movements and words / sounds related to Tourette’s disorder. Haloperidol is also used for severe behavior problems in hyperactive children when other treatments or medicines have not worked.
Haloperidol is a psychiatric therapy that works by helping to restore the balance of some natural substances (neurotransmitters) in the brain.

How to use Haloperidol

Take Haloperidol according to your mouth or with no food, or as directed by your doctor. If you are using the liquid form of medicine, then use the measurement draper in the package to measure your dose. Precautions

Before taking Haloperidol, tell your doctor or pharmacist whether you are allergic to it; Or if you have any other allergens. This product can have passive elements, which can cause allergic or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details.

Missed Dose
